Crude Oil Processing

In this report a detail information about crude oil processing in Eastern Refinery Limited is presented. The company has given training for 3 weeks starting on 29 November 2022. ERL is a public limited company owned by BPC. The company is situated at North Patenga, in Chattogram. By completing the training in the ERL, I have been able to learn the whole process of crude oil. They have produced these Products: LPG, SBPS, Motor gasoline(regular/premium), Naphtha, MTT, SKO, Jet A-01, HSD, JBO, LDO, Furnace Oil, Bitumen. Production capacity: 1.5 million metric tons/year. No of process units: 4 Mother Plants. ERL produces a total of 16 petroleum products, some of which are non-fuels, such as SBP, JBO, MTT, Bitumen. Some products are produced only on demand.
