To examine the demographic factors that influence Consumers¿ preferences on the choice for Nonwoven bags, this study therefore focuses on Consumer characteristics in terms of location, gender, age, marital status, family size, educational qualification, occupation and income. Consumers of the market who make the purchasing regarding these bags in Coimbatore City and its suburbs were surveyed in order to gain insight into the influence of the various demographic factors on their buying process so that firms in the Industry can learn how to plan and align their marketing activities in order to attract the various demographic segments from the market.
