Construction of Specific Skill Tests in Softball

Softball provides a comprehensive approach for competition. Players compete against each other whenever they go on to the field to play a game. If winning is of primary importance in competition then the performance the player gives in the game is determining factor in winning. The competition is the arena in which a player tests his skills against his opponents. The criteria for evaluating a performance includes the players skill or tactical ability; his fitness i.e. his speed, agility, strength, or his attitude, i.e. his determination, concentration, commitment .To be a successful softball player one needs to expertise himself in fundamental skills of ¿ Hitting, Base Running ,Throwing and catching and Underhand Pitchin. The study will provide norms for national Level players as well as Administration of Specific Softball Skill Tests.
