Conservation Agriculture

The future survival of global agriculture has to be following the pathway of conservation agriculture. We have already substantially destroyed ecological resilience. The excessive disruption of topsoil by indiscriminate mechanization, huge contamination of groundwater by driving toxic and pernicious heavy metals of pesticides, and their subsequent biological magnification while passaging through the food chain and destroying our traditional landraces in favor of gene myopia. So, not much time is left for us to save soil, water, and gene diversity if we want to leave mother earth habitable for the new generations.
