The environmental consequences caused by unbridled consumption have been growing and have been of increasing concern. In order to understand how the origins of consumption, the relationship between consumption x production, and advertising, affect consumer decision making when buying, a case study was carried out at the Casa Comun Collective, which is a collective of small local entrepreneurs, located in the Campo Grande neighborhood, west zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro.
