Conditions of Distress

This paper is a reelaboration of a research project carried out in the framework of the Faculty of Psychology of the UNdMdP, Argentina, with the collaboration of Rosana Canales and the project director Alfredo Cosimi, to whom I am grateful for their contributions, in addition to my years of clinical practice with patients with this type of suffering.The different clinical approaches aim to eradicate the symptom. In psychoanalysis, although the final objective is also the aim, it is on the way to unraveling the singular and subjective truth of the symptom that we try to get to its cause, knowing that this will be the only way to obtain an impulsive gain for the subject.
