Concrete Technology and Design of Masonry Structure

This is my first attempt to write a book. It is a result of my involvement for more than 12 years of teaching and research experiences in the academic field. This book focuses on the curriculum of Bachelor's in Civil Engineering but can also be useful for Diploma in Civil Engineering and Master's Level students too. It covers the properties of fresh, hardened and special types of concrete. Detailed inclusion of mix design and testing of concrete with standard procedures helps to maintain quality in the concrete construction. In the second part of this book, the inclusion of a detailed design approach of masonry structures with standard guidelines and testing procedures help the students to learn the detailed design of masonry structures. Both concrete and masonry units in this book provides the standard theoretical and practical knowledge to students of engineering and site engineers. I have used many supporting materials like books, journals and internet resource materials to write this book. So, I would like to extend my acknowledge to all the authors of those works. I would like to thank my friends for motivating me to publish a book on concrete technology and masonry structure.
