The high success rate of dental implants has improved the quality of life for many patients. The success of dental implant procedures largely depends on their ability to osseointegrate. Implant dentistry has gone through many phases over the last five decades. The concepts and loading protocols of the implant kept changing over the decades from time to time to satisfy the patient's needs for comfort and improve the success rate of the prosthesis.
