This book has 8 chapters which include the introduction and role of computers in biotechnology as computational biology and bioinformatics. Due to its role in biological sciences and biotechnology, new name is given to this apllication as biocomputers. This application of computers in biotechnology as computational biology and bioinformatics is the phenomenonal and inevitable. This applied science is a excellent fusion of life sciences and computers. Hence, this application of computers is very helpul to solve some untold facts in biotechnology as in the field of forensic sciences, genetics, evolutionary biology,biochemistry, microbiology, etiopathogenesis of epidemics & genetic disorders, cell & molecular biology.
