Second generation of Bt cotton has given solution to the bollworm complex to the larger extent but at the same time they are susceptible to most of the sucking pests. Apart from this, the diseases like Grey mildew, Alternaria leaf spot and Bacterial blight are also posing threat to cotton cultivation. It requires a mixture of two or more pesticides and nutrients when a wide range of pests or maladies are to be managed. The primary benefit of mixing pesticides together is a reduction in the number of applications required, which decreases labor costs and saves time which are the three major but scarce inputs in agricultural systems nowadays. It has been proposed that pesticide mixtures may delay the onset of resistance developing in arthropod pest populations The knowledge about compatibility of Agro-chemicals is very vital in selecting the compatible combination for effective management of insect pests, diseases and weeds. So, understanding and knowledge of pesticide compatibility is essential in order to avoid problems physical, chemical or phytotoxic incompatibility.
