This work discusses the mathematical difference between the AC- and DC power flow models. Beginning by a simple transmission with one transmission line up to a whole Microgrid (a small electrical grid with a high amount of renewable energy sources). The deviations of AC- and DC power flow in conventional electrical grids is been covered in a few other works. Therefore this work is focusing on the power flow in Microgrids, a promising concept of future power generation and supply.
