Cognitive Radio Network Security for Control Channel Jamming Attack

Cognitive Radio(CR) is the next-generation technology that addresses the problems of spectrum scarcity and under-utilization of the spectrum. In wireless communication area, Cognitive radio is an emerging technology which draws attention for more efficient spectrum utilization systems. For the purpose of spectrum security & spectrum sharing, cognitive radio enables frequency reuse spectrum. Interference management is essential in cognitive Radio technique to increase the system capacity. IEEE 802.22 is a rising standard for Wireless Regional Area Network meant to utilize the white-space left in the TV UHF/VHF frequency spectrum. A new security method is proposed in this book to measure the ability of the adversary to deny access to the control channel.
