As central institutions of the nascent printing industry, printing workshops played an important role in the production of literature. This volume explores the extent to which the prints “surrounding” a print produced within a printing workshop (co-prints) can be used as heuristics in context modeling. The case studies concentrate on the period between the 1555 Peace of Augsburg and the outbreak of the Thirty Years’ War in 1618.
