Clinical Internship Report

In compliance with professional requirements, (master of science) of the Department of General and Applied Psychology of University of Jos, is a twenty four (24) months programme which include a mandatory six (6) months clinical internship of which the activities and cases handled by an intern is documented in a report The practicum and Internship experience is organized that both diagnostic and therapeutic techniques are taught in integrated relationship to theories of personality and behaviour. It is a formal, systematic training in mental health as psychometrists or mental testers and as psychotherapists as well (Corsini 1987). In other word clinical psychology at University Psychology Departments, Supplemented by stints of practicum work and internships in standard mental health facilities under the supervision of clinical judgment of the interns.
