CHEMISTRY IN PRACTICE:

This work is the result of research developed in the period from July 2016 to July 2017, related to the project of scientific initiation of four students of the University College of the Federal University of Maranhão, coordinated by the author of this work. The work consists basically of research by the students of simple and commonplace experiments of chemistry (mostly collected from the internet), being copied in the form of experimental scripts and developed in the school laboratory, following a well-established pattern: TITLE of the experiment, proposed OBJECTIVE, THEORETICAL BACKGROUND on the subject developed, EXPERIMENTAL PART, relating MATERIALS, REAGENTS and PROCEDURE, and the RESULTS achieved in each activity. Many of these experiments were recorded in videos and posted on the Internet, on the youtube video platform, as a way of disseminating the work performed, as well as trying to explain in a simple way how chemical reactions occur and their consequences for today's society. Motivate Internet users to perform such experiments, safely and without much cost, also served as inspiration for the publication of this work.
