Clays and clay minerals play an important role in our daily life, due to their potential, use and abundance in nature. Clay is an important industrial material having applications in various fields including ceramic, pharmaceutical, agriculture, construction and environment. Due to their distinguished properties, clays are used in ceramics industries to make traditional ceramic bricks, tiles and pipes. In order to get some useful and standard composition, clays are mixed together or with other minerals and blended. Applications of clays include filling and coating of papers, purification of wine and drilling due to its water absorption capability.
