Cancer is one of the main causes of death worldwide. Cancer is characterized as the unregulated proliferation of cells. Being a major cause of the high mortality rate in the world, scientists and medical practitioners are looking for a possible cure. There are many types of treatments are available and the most popular and effective among them are surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Over the years, many more therapies have been used to treat cancer. in spite of many available therapies there is very less chance to treat some cancer because none of them is 100% effective and the main problem with these agents is toxicity, lack of specificity, as these agents, also kill healthy cells and the resistance nowadays, combination therapy is used to combat cancer.
