Camper 50 (1975-2025): Walk, Don’t Run

Camper celebrates its 50th anniversary with an irreverent exploration of the art of walking, designed by the legendary Dutch bookmaker Irma Boom. Told through the shoes from its archive, this visual history of the Mallorca-based footwear brand walks through its earliest to most recent designs, juxtaposed against strikingly similar and dissimilar images. This visually compelling book is a non-linear journey through the evolution of Camper footwear, with each design a vehicle for innovative and purposeful movement, honouring the brand philosophy, “Walk, Don’t Run.” Looking back and walking forward, this publication honours the imagination, diversity, and eclecticism of Camper so far.
