The book tackles a range of topics of Public Health importance, from research, change through leadership, and Family health issues to diseases requiring multifaceted efforts to eradicate. The thorny issues of adolescent pregnancies and maternal mortalities in Sub-Saharan Africa have not been left out, neither has communicable diseases threatening low-income countries like Cholera, Ebola and COVID-19. Non-communicable diseases like Diabetes have also been addressed. Childhood mortalities, health economics, and formidable partnerships in Health to improve the health delivery and strengthen health care systems are topics the author is passionate about. All these have been handled with a view of achieving the SDG 3.
