Archaeological Photogrammetry and World Heritage Documentation

In past, the only way to document the world heritage was writing the target description in files and keep it in a save place. This method was dangerous something as it¿s very easy to loose the document by fire or bad saving condition. As the photogrammetric science is existed, it has been used in the field of archaeology for several aims. The application of the photogrammetry in the archaeological field is called Archaeological Photogrammetry. Fields of application for photogrammetry in archaeology can be Prospection and Landscape Archaeology, Excavation, Recording of Caves, Mining and Cave Paintings, and Recording of Finds. All Photogrammetric types are used in the Archaeological field, Arial, Terrestrial, and close-range. Also, all the Photogrammetric techniques are used in that field without any limitations. Nowadays, the documentation of the world heritage became easier and accurate using Digital Photogrammetry. This depends mainly in the imagery and computer models. Lots of methods, techniques, and softwares are used to document the world heritage. Some of these methods end with a special techniques and software, but some others using the already exist software.
