Application of the study of methods and measurement of work

This document is a written work, which presents a study of times and movements for five operational and administrative processes, developed in a service company dedicated to the calibration of measurement instruments of different magnitudes.In its process of continuous improvement, the company seeks to evaluate and better understand the production times for calibration processes in the magnitudes of temperature, relative humidity, weights, as well as in billing processes and entry of equipment.Engineering tools were executed in order to find possible events that generate operation delays as well as to understand the real situation of the company based on its technical, human, commercial context, etc. in order to offer solutions that can speed up their execution, so that techniques are achieved to determine the time a qualified worker spends in carrying out these defined tasks, carried out according to a pre-established execution standard, which will allow basic and quality information for production planning.
