This book provides a comprehensive coverage of antitrust policy in Korea from an economist’s perspective. It consists of two parts and encompasses five main chapters dedicated to Korean antitrust policy. The second part focuses on Conventional Competition Policies, addressing topics such as Market Dominance Abuses, Mergers, and Cartels. Each chapter follows a consistent framework, commencing with an introduction to the Korean policy and its historical context. Subsequently, the book examines the relevant economic issues and equips readers with the necessary economic tools to analyze the subject matter.
