ANALYSIS OF STRATIFIED FLOWS THROUGH RECTANGULAR CHANNELS

The research work investigates the behaviour of stratified fluid flows through rectangular channels for (i) The flow being oscillatory and linearly distributed density in unperturbed state, (ii) The flow of electrically conducting visoelastic fluid through porous medium with suction through one plate and injection through the other plate, (iii) Flow through narrow channel with a porous wall (Lubrication approximation) and (iv) Unsteady magnetohydrodynamic flow with variable suction and injection through the porous plate. The main objective is to study the effect of various parameters on velocity profiles, pressure distribution and density distribution and also the range of parameters in order to control the flow.
