ANALYSIS OF SMARTPHONE ADDICTION OF STUDENTS AMOUNG COLLEGE STUDENTS

Smartphone¿s plays a vital role in our daily life. Perhaps, this is most important for any purpose of day today life. It is most important for study; communication etc. In today¿s scenario, it is strange to every student using spectacles compared to past decades. The inquisitive mind triggers why??Why so many??? Why are students using smart phones??What is the importance?? Is really effect on study??The negative aspects of Smartphone overuse on young adults, such as sleep deprivation and attention de¿cits, are being increasingly recognized recently. This emerging issue motivated us to analyze the usage patterns related to Smartphone overuse. We investigate Smartphone usage out 350, college students using surveys, logged data, and interviews. We ¿rst divide the participants into risk and non-risk groups based on self-reported rating scale for Smartphone overuse. We then analyze the usage data to identify between-group usage differences, which ranged from the overall usage patterns to app speci¿c usage patterns.
