AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION: ISSUES AND METHODOLOGY

The book is on agricultural education methods and issues related to it. It covers areas such as aims and objectives of agricultural education, characteristics and qualities of a good teacher of agriculture. The major areas of the book cover the various methods used in teaching agricultural science in primary and secondary schools. These methods are: lecture method, discussion method, demonstration method, problem-solving method, discovering method, laboratory method, field trip, pictorial riddles, concept mapping and 3-dimensional riddles. Other areas covered by the book include classroom/field practical and laboratory management.
