Marine biotechnology is an inter-disciplinary research area which has emerged as a unique academic subject. Marine biotechnology applications in various sectors are bio-prospecting, production of novel products by improving the growth of marine organisms, particularly food and feed products and diagnostics and biosensors. Considering the vast scope and innovative developments in the field of Marine Biotechnology, this book aims to bring out a comprehensive update of recent developments and emerging dimensions.
