A Pot of Roses contains two parts: Part One - a meticulously collected fifty individual poems by the author; Part Two - a most creative poetic drama, "The Dilemma of the Betrothed," that can daringly be compared to Shakespearean classics. The poetry contained herein is a product of series of soulful journeys by the author who composes poetry by reaching deep within his being to search out the inspiration by his undying muse. While paying attention to the torturing voice of his muse, he masterfully relates the messages to his intentional audience, offering varied rays of hope, comfort, love, and the adoration of mother nature herself who never fails to lurk around to inspire her children.
