A novel approach for online air quality monitoring system using WSN

This book helps to dedicate an autonomous air quality monitoring system with trouble-free method of wireless sensor network. Pollutant gases may be detected with tiny, economical sensor nodes which are situated throughout the territory and operate autonomously on a supportive basis.The planned structure comprises a group of sensors (CO2, Temperature, Humidity, LDR and LPG) that are deployed within the environment using XBee module. In this system, we proposed two sensor nodes, the arduino UNO microcontroller for controlling the data, XBee for wireless communication and one gateway node. The sensor node collects the particular data from the environment and sends it wirelessly to the gateway node. The gateway node is interfaced to the LabVIEW by a VISA. All these data are displayed on the arduino serial monitor window and front panel of the LabVIEW. We can supervise the sensor parameter values and upload these values in web portal.The book contains information that covers the extensive assortment of the WSN capabilities, from basic concepts and common tasks to advanced technology.
