A modification to the matrix method for solving problems of seismology

This work is dedicated to the direct and inverse problems of seismology. A modification to the matrix method  for calculating wavefields on the free surface of the anisotropic medium is developed. The problem of wavefields modelling, when the source is presented by seismic moment, has practical applications in seismology. Therefore, the development of methods for determining the displacement field on the free surface of an anisotropic inhomogeneous medium for sources of this type is an actual task and needs to be resolved. The trial and error method is proposed for determining the earthquake source parameters using the real seismic records. This book can be useful for students and engineers interested in dynamic problems of seismology.
