This book analyses the learning environment of an elite defence university in Malaysia namely the National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM), or was previously known as the Military Academy of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur (MAM). It investigates the place of new technologies in educating future military officers. It was assumed that as modern technologies for war and defence have changed, so too must the training facilities accommodate to that ¿ especially in producing the right kind of officers who will lead the defence of the nation. Research in the NDUM, however, revealed much more significant and deeper issues in the military learning environment.
