A Comparative Study

The study was conducted on female sports players of aged 18-21 years to know whether there are any differences in the value of physiological and biochemical variables (total body ca, k, plasma fluid, blood pressure and resting metabolic rate). 20 girls were selected randomly according to their menstruation phases from different sports of LNIPE, Gwalior (MP) India for this study and data were collected through Bio electric impedance method and blood pressure measurement. The data analysis were done by applying paired t-test and there were significant differences in total body calcium and potassium and diastolic blood pressure between follicular and luteal phases and no significant differences were found in resting metabolic rate, systolic blood pressure and plasma fluid.
