The present work has been an attempt toward applying a CDA approach to semiotic analyses of two inter-semiotic translations of The Glass Menagerie (1945), a literary acclaimed drama written by Tennessee Williams. The selected inter-semiotic translations of The Glass menagerie are two movies; an Iranian cinematic adaptation titled Here Without Me (2011) directed by Bahram Tavakkoli and an American one titled The Glass Menagerie (1950), exactly the same as the title of Williams¿ drama, directed by Irving Rapper.
