3D-2D Facial Registration Using Weighted Edge

Computer Graphic is based on 3D geometric values but Images are based on 2D intensity values. When you collect 3D data from Computer tomographic (CT) scanner , it¿s obvious that it looks odd to human eyes. If we look at the CT scanned image of a person, it is clearly understood that absence of proper surface color and hair on the 3D polygonal face made it di¿cult to identify a person. Lack of hair (and mustache) and facial texture gives completely di¿erent impression. This book is all about finding a way how to add the proper surface color from the photographic face to the 3D-face with high localization accuracy and Color Image and 3D Data are taken by di¿erent devices at di¿erent times that¿s why the objects are not same.
