After 444 days I have basically been forced to surrender, I descended into madness. \nOver the next few years of therapy and a grueling process of getting social welfare payments that uphold my dignity. During those grey years nothing could be done, nothing has been done. Yet in a way everything has changed. I merely was able to exist, even this existence was shrouded in stigma and financial despair. \nThen two years ago, alongside the approval of my mental invalidity, came a therapeutic breakthrough by accepting my situation my reality.\nThese days I try to find my place again in a world where I have to learn to accept that I will probably never work again. \n\nNot because I don't want to \nnot because I didn't want to\nbut because that is just reality.\n \nAnd it is not only my reality, it seems it has become the truth for many young and old all around the world. \n\nAt the end I despaired.
