Nowadays, it is\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003epossible to create 4D models involving time variations using multiple synthetic aperture\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eradar (SAR) images, combined with interferometric methods. SAR has evolved to satisfy\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ea variety of applications for civilian and military users, for example by supporting\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecatastrophe management, detection of geological changes, monitoring large construction\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esites or mines. With the help of SAR data obtained from the TerraSAR-X satellite, infrastructural\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emonitoring is made possible from a distance. The benefit of this is that\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003epotential collapse within mines or tunnels could be prevented. Concrete degradation that\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecould lead to building collapse, endangering people¿s lives can also be identified before\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eany catastrophe has the chance to occur.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCurrently, Tomographic SAR (TomoSAR) is the most advanced and competent interferometric\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSAR (InSAR) method in the area of urban monitoring. TomoSAR makes\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emonitoring in 4D possible by creating the 3D position with the motion parameters.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis thesis applies a new TomoSAR technique and method, developed by ZHU and her\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecolleagues, 2012 [1], on a very high resolution (VHR) spotlight data stack in the area of\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBerlin. The images were taken by the TerraSAR-X satellite (Germany) over a timeframe\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eof 3 years.
