The occurrence of inappropriate therapy is a potentially serious event. Methods:We conducted a study that included 80 patients implanted with ICDs in the cardiology department of Habib Thameur Hospital in Tunis between January 2010 and June 2019. Results:The median age of the patients was 58 years (52.25-65.75) with a sex ratio of 12.1H\/F. During a median follow-up of 48 months, 695 therapies were recorded: 62% anti-tachycardia pacing (ATP) and 38% shocks with a predominance of appropriate therapies (87.8%).The incidence of therapies was 4.72 therapies\/patient-year at 1 year, 3.28 therapies\/patient-year at 3 years and 0.78 therapies\/patient-year at 5 years.
