The believe that we are not neutral, objective\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ewitnesses to things and events was first insisted upon by Niels Bohr and his\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecolleagues in Copenhagen where Bohr lived; thus its often called the\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCopenhagen interpretation (Arntz, 2008: 76). This Copenhagen principle, from\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003equantum physics, suggests that the smallest part of matter, called a particle,\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ebehaves in a fashion based on the consciousness of the observer. For example,\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eif a particle is observed, the behaviour of such a particle is determined based on\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ewhat the observer thinks. Science is therefore suggesting that our thoughts as\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ehumans are the determining factor in the creation of reality.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFrom the metaphysical perspective, Bob Proctor, philosopher, is quoted in Byrne\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e(2006: 3) as saying that we all work with one infinite power - we all guide\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eourselves by the exact same law of the universe ¿ the law of attraction. Proctor\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ebelieves that everything in your life that comes your way comes because of the\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003elaw of attraction. It is attracted to you by virtue of the images you are holding in\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eyour mind. The images in your mind or visions in your mind, is thus the basis of\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecreation of your reality. What you think determines your reality. The credibility of\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eauthors such as Proctor is supported in the work of Byrne (2006:7) by other\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eauthors as John Assaraf, Bob Doyle, Mike Dooley and many others. All of these\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eauthors support the notion that we can create whatever we hold in our minds as a\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003epowerful enough vision. This notion is also supported by the Bible when it states ¿\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eas you believe, so shall it be¿. In this study the routes to the development of this\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e¿visioning¿ is analysed and compared. For purposes of this study these routes\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eare defined as meditation, self-hypnosis and visualisation.
