Hence, the research undertaken in this dissertation focuses on telling the story of the ICT sector in or what is now referred to as a cluster in Jordan. To tell the story of the ICT cluster and the country's quest to achieving KBE, fieldwork was undertaken by the researcher  to better understand the ICT cluster, analyse the ecosystem surrounding it, and devise strategies to further strengthen its position.
