It includes a separate chapter  for the methodology to enable the interested reader  to reproduce these methods easily. Additionally,  this book provides interpretations for the presence  of sugar residues and some proteins in the bovine  testis. In the near future, the functional aspects  of these sugars and proteins may be used for  clinical applications in the field of male  infertility. This work has been awarded the Alumni- price for the best thesis in the summer semester  2005 in LMU, Munich, Germany.
