The synthetic route involves the equimolar mixture of 2- Acetoxy benzoic acid, Benzaldehyde was dissolved in 25ml of Ethanol to give 2- (chloro carboxy) phenyl acrylate.Various aromatic anilines were added to the 2- [(- 4- chlorophenyl) carbomoyl] phenyl 3- phenyl acrylate dissolved in ethanol. The reaction mixture was stirred and then refluxed for 1hrs and filter the solution to give 6 novel quinoxaline derivatives (AN1-AN6). The compounds show the mild to moderate anti- cancer activity when compared with standard Bevacizumab. Selected derivatives (AN4, AN5, \u0026amp; AN6) were screened for anti-cancer activity.
