Sensors are placed on the conductors and the main objective is to evaluate  their mechanical behaviour from low frequencies (fraction of Hz) to high frequencies (some tens  of Hz). This document has evaluated the possibilities to reproduce large low frequency  movements as those observed in large turbulent wind, short-circuit, ice shedding, galloping or  any other cause. This aims to help operators and designers make decisions.
