Human’s internalised relation to the existence\/non-existence of a stable truth or recognisable reality inevitably influences how we deal with \n                    \n                    \u003cem\u003emediated\u003c\/em\u003e\n                                         reality as well as \n                    \n                    \u003cem\u003ehistorical\u003c\/em\u003e\n                                         reality, and how we work to \n                    \n                    \u003cem\u003emake sense\u003c\/em\u003e\n                                         of our past and present. What does this mean for understanding media, for writing history, for performing social science? This is our starting point for this anthology.\n                    \n                    \u003cbr\u003e\n                                        We demonstrate how social scientists across a broad spectrum of academic fields understand \n                    \n                    \u003cem\u003eprocesses\u003c\/em\u003e\n                                         of reality formation. When we are discussing reality formation, we discuss reality constructions based on certain experiences, expectations, interests or political intents.
