Basierend auf den gewonnenen Erkenntnissen\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ewerden Empfehlungen zur Gestaltung nutzerorientierter Green IS abgeleitet mit dem Ziel langfristige\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eVerhaltensveränderung zu erreichen. Darüber hinaus wird die Akzeptanz solcher Systeme ermittelt,\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eund analysiert wie eine Steigerung der Akzeptanz initiiert werden kann. Neben der Präsentation der\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003egewonnen wissenschaftlichen und praxisbezogenen Erkenntnisse im Kontext nutzerorientierter\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003enachhaltiger Green IS, leistet diese Arbeit einen Beitrag zur Wahrnehmungssteigerung solcher\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSysteme. Zudem werden Grundlagen für weitere Forschung innerhalb des noch jungen\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eForschungsgebiets unter Berücksichtigung persuasiver Design-Prinzipien geschaffen.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis dissertation shows the potential of information systems to promote and invoke environmental\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esustainable behavior. At first, an overview of existing approaches in research and practice is provided\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ein order to illustrate the status quo of user-centric environmental sustainable information systems\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e(Green IS). Furthermore, various applied theories from psychology as well as technological designprinciples\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eare revealed and analyzed regarding their suitability and effect in context of behavioral\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003echange. Based on these findings recommendations for the design of user-centric Green IS are\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ededuced in order to achieve long-term behavior change. Moreover, an analysis of the acceptance of\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esuch systems is performed. Alongside the presentation of the central findings for theory and practice\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethis thesis also contributes to an increase of people¿s awareness of these systems regarding their\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eexistence and potential.
