Current tools such as mobile applications, deploy a field of possibilities to optimize self-management and self-care in the elderly.Objective: to review the scientific production on the use of mobile applications in the elderly population for the management of the most prevalent pathologies in older adults.Methodology: systematic narrative review. Application of search strategy: \"mobile app\" AND \"aging\" in databases: Pub-Med, Scopus and Cochrane. Studies within the last 5 years (from 2016 to 2021).
