The interests of   computational linguists now\nextend to include such domains as commonsense   knowledge,\ninheritance, default reasoning, collocational relations,         and\neven domain knowledge. With such an extension of the normal\npurview of \"linguistic\" knowledge, one may question whether\nthere is any logical    justification for distinguishing\nbetween lexical semantics and commonsense  reasoning.\nThis volume explores the question from several\nmethodologicaland theoretical perspectives.
