The case study in the Day River flood  diversion area of Vietnam is applied. The Analytical  Hierarchy Process (AHP) was appraised as quite  satisfactory for quantifying the weights to  parameters of flood risk. The Decision Tree Analysis  (DTA), in conjunction with dummy simulation skills,  was an effective tool in the operation of a complex  flood control system created using MIKE 11 model.  Integrated flood risk is assessed in flood-cells  where 2D flood flow is simulated using MIKE 21  model.
