Information Technology Exports in India

The present study explains multidimensional approaches of performance and prospects of Indian IT exports. The Study is organized into seven Chapters. The First Chapter presents the introduction, need for the study, methodology, data sources and plan of the study. Review of literature is presented in the Second chapter. The Third Chapter deals with the Origin and Growth of IT industry in India. Composition and Direction of IT industry has been dealt in the Fourth Chapter. The Fifth Chapter explains the determinants of Indian IT exports. The Six Chapter is devoted to assess the future prospects of IT industry in India. The summary, findings and policy implications are presented in the last Chapter.
