The general objective was to analyze the pedagogical strategies adopted in the Spanish course in the teaching-learning process in the distance learning mode. The specific objectives are to know the pedagogical strategies regarding virtual resources and the student's follow-up process; to identify teacher \/ tutor skills as guiding elements of the professional in the educational area; to verify the aspects that involve pedagogical mediation in distance education focusing on the tutor skills and the motivation for student learning in this process. For this study, a bibliographic and field research was carried out with a qualitative approach and the application of questionnaires. The subjects of the research were 03 (three) teachers from Universidade Aberta do Piauí - UAPI polo de Água Branca-PI.
