However it is  economical to obtain it as a byproduct and common  feed ingredient in diets for monogastric animals.  Distillery sludge is the byproducts of brewing  industry which contains 18.25 % crude protein while  37.14 % mineral content. This higher mineral  content of distillery sludge is the main limitation  towards its extensive use. Therefore, a project has  been planned to reduce the mineral content of  distillery sludge by washing and to replace  different levels of canola meal in broiler rations.
