The major problem in this technology is to  obtain sufficient wetting of dispersoid by the  liquid metal and to get a homogeneous dispersion of  the ceramic particles. Among all the liquid-state  processes, stir-casting technology is considered to  be the most potential method for engineering  application in terms of production capacity and  cost efficiency.
